So two moms apparently went after each other at their kids birthday party... at Chuck-E-Cheese... the kids pizza place... in front of their kids... and all of their friends. What are we thinking? Aren't we as adults supposed to have a little better control over ourselves than we seem to show so many times? This story just reminds me that we are such selfish creatures. At our core it seems that more times than not we think of us and our feelings than we do the thoughts and feelings of others. It seems to me that scripture kind of tells us to do the opposite (I'm not doing all the work for you, I told you it was there, you go find it). In this crazy mixed up world that we live in, we believers in Christ need to make sure that we are seeking to please Him first and then we will hopefully be able to suppress that ugly creature known as self. It is at that moment where those around us can begin to sit up and take notice that there is a difference in those who call Christ daddy and those who are still searching. A difference worth searching for in your life.
