Welcome to my first blog of 2009...yes, my first of 2009. I know that is is almost July but it has been a really crazy year so far and I am just now getting around to penning something for the first time. After several requests to write something (and I have no idea why) I have relented and decided to add and entry. I hope to continue the trend and make this a place of encouragement that can extend beyond the time that I get to spend with many of you on Sundays. We had a great day this Sunday. Bob Hale a missionary from South Korea was with us and shared 4 important ways that we can all be a part of the mission of reaching others: 1)Going 2)Staying 3)Giving 4)Praying. The question is "what will you do?" We also had the privilege of having Leah Milan with us to share her talents in music. It was a great day not just because of our two guests but because Abigail gave her heart to Jesus and that was awesome. I explained the fact that Jesus gave His life for her and she looked at me and said "wow." It was so cool. So this Sunday we get to baptize Abigail and Hope and Taeg. It will be a great service so come and join us! Well I know that this blog has been kind of short and maybe even a little disappointing considering I have had 6 months or more to prepare it but I guess you'll just have to come back to see what I may say next.
